About the Gallery

Located in a historic functioning train station in the picturesque place also known as “Stonetown”, the St. Marys STATION GALLERY is an engaging kinetic space showcasing the creative talents of unique Canadian and area artists.

Established in 2016, the STATION GALLERY is the collaborative creative vision of professional artists Cameron Porteous, Charles Sharun and Reed Needles. Since its celebrated opening, the nostalgic rail line venue has hosted a vibrant mix of acclaimed and emerging artist’s exhibitions that have been enthusiastically received by the greater community – resulting in new attendance records for the gallery each year.

The STATION GALLERY is a not-for-profit organization that is financially assisted by the Town of St. Marys, generously supported by local businesses, and operated entirely by volunteers known as “Friends of the Gallery”. All generated funds go directly to covering the combined costs of facility operation and annual art exhibition staging.

There is no admission fee to the gallery, but monetary donations from gallery guests are joyously welcomed and greatly appreciated.
